April 18th, 2014 - The North is strong in the Force! - Looks like the Americas will complete the puzzle before the rest of the world - through Calgary Star Wars Fanfoce, Canada is now a territory of SWORA! Based in Calgary, Canada, the Tosche Station is a non profit Star Wars club that focuses on everything related Star Wars, including the films, games, costumes, collecting and more. November 24th, 2013 - Star Wars Venezuela, now a member of SWORA! - Looks like South America will be the first continent to be fully covered by SWORA member countries. Star Wars Venezuela, a well known fan groups that aims to bring the Venezuelan fans together, has now become a member of SWORA. Check their website here !

 

 

November 7th, 2013 - T for Tango, Argentina is a go! - SWORA is happy to announce another South American member - Cuna de la Fuerza from Argentina! Being a very young club, which was founded just a year ago, CDLF aims to spread the love of Star Wars through films, games, books, expanded universe and meetings in Argentina. November 7th, 2013 - Our membership page has been updated! - We have made some changes with our membership rules and requirements, also introducing the new "provisional members" - for applicant groups which partly comply with some of the requirements. November 7th, 2013 - Interview Alert! - Star Wars Cali of Colombia has recently done an interview with Star Wars actor Jeremy Bulloch who wore the mask of the most notorious bounty hunter of the galaxy, Boba Fett. You can read their interview in English or Spanish.

 

 

October 22nd, 2013 - Star Wars Clube Portugal interviews Dave Prowse - The Portuguese representative of SWORA, SWCP, has interviewed Star Wars actor Dave Prowse who played as Darth Vader, one of the most iconic characters of the series. September 26th, 2013 - Star Wars Cali of Colombia is now a member of SWORA! - Founded in January of 2012, Star Wars Cali (SWC), is a group of fans from Cali, Colombia, South America, with the purpose of getting to know other fans, share information and organise Star Wars events in the city. From the beginning, Star Wars Cali has made contact and alliances with other Star Wars groups; as a result, in may of 2013 they made the first Barcamp Star Wars Edition in the city of Cali, and the event was broadcast over the internet. September 25th, 2013 - SWORA is represented in Brazil by Conselho Jedi Parana! - Founded in early 2000 , Jedi Council Paraná (JCPR) is one of the many Jedi Councils in Brazil. Over the years they held several events: Jedicons (the fifth edition of the event, celebrating the 10th anniversary, was attended by nearly 3800 people , including visitors from another states, always with contests and sweepstakes prizes worth); Events with prizes in bookstores; Charity events in McDonalds, APACN and in CEDAE’s unity of APAE-Curitiba; Launch of Adidas Collection in 2009; Treasure hunts and many others. JCPR’s also participated as a guest in several events, like Jedicon SP 2009, Trekker Conventions, World RPG Fest, Gibicon, etc . September 12th, 2013 - Star Wars Fan Club Latin America joins SWORA! - Star Wars Fan-Club Latinoamerica is a Fan Club founded on February 23, 2012, our task from the start was always joining and affiliating the various clubs in Latin America. We conducted various events and now we lead the "Latin American Alliance Clubs and Organizations Star Wars"

We always have the vision in the 'fans' and followers of this universe, everything we do is always for them, we support social support events, we are always where we are called.

 

 

September 10th, 2013 - TeeKay-421 Magazine 65 published - The 65th Magazine of TeeKay-421, the Belgian Star Wars fanclub, was published in September. It features cover art by Joe Corroney and Chris Dee. The magazine has an extensive report on Celebration Europe II and has exclusive interviews with Corey Burton (Cad Bane, Dooku, ...), Joe Corroney and Bonnie Piesse (Beru Whitesun). The central theme of the magazine is ‘Skywalkers’ and therefor there are several articles about the legendary family, including one about ‘The Chosen One’. We also continue our special feature of ‘Shadows of the Empire’ with articles about the soundtrack and the merchandising. The latest books are also reviewed, including ‘The Clone Wars Episode Guide’ and ‘Complete Vehicles’. For fans of Vintage Kenner we have an article about unusual photography on the Vintage figure cards. Fans of games can check-out features of ‘Star Wars Angry Birds’ and a review of the new card game of Fantasy Flight Games.
